Mary Alexandra Agner [EMAIL] writes of dead women, telescopes, and secrets.

She is the author of The Doors of the Body (Mayapple Press 2009) and The Scientific Method (Parallel Press 2012). Her poems have appeared in North American Review, Boxcar Poetry Review, Isotope, and other magazines. Her science fiction novelette, "O Susannah," is available online.

She was born in a United State made for lovers and currently lives outside Boston. Her family tree bears Parson Brown oranges. Her advanced degrees include Earth & planetary science and creative writing. She's blessed to have a paying job that utilizes both of them.

All her life she's observed the universe and written about it.
